Shap Shap, a compelling short by filmmaker Kgomotso Sekhu, tells the story of Mmusi, a 13-year-old on a desperate search for survival and connection. The film first screened in the United States at the 32nd New York African Film Festival before appearing at the South African Film Festival in Australia and New Zealand, and at Johannesburg's Atlas Studios for the Africa Rising Film Festival.
